AB	Als David zag, dat Saul eropuit was getrokken, om hem naar het leven te staan, zo was David in de woestijn Zif te Choresa.
SV	Als David zag, dat Saul uitgetogen was, om zijn ziel te zoeken, zo was David in de woestijn Zif in een woud.
WLC	וַיַּ֣רְא דָוִ֔ד כִּֽי־יָצָ֥א שָׁא֖וּל לְבַקֵּ֣שׁ אֶת־נַפְשֹׁ֑ו וְדָוִ֥ד בְּמִדְבַּר־זִ֖יף בַּחֹֽרְשָׁה׃ ס
Trans.	wayyarə’ ḏāwiḏ kî-yāṣā’ šā’ûl ləḇaqqēš ’eṯ-nafəšwō wəḏāwiḏ bəmiḏəbar-zîf b^aḥōrəšâ:

AC	טו וירא דוד כי יצא שאול לבקש את נפשו ודוד במדבר זיף בחרשה {ס}
ASV	And David saw that Saul was come out to seek his life: and David was in the wilderness of Ziph in the wood.
BE	And David was full of fear, in the knowledge that Saul had come out to take his life; and David was in the waste land of Ziph, in Horesh.
Darby	And David saw that Saul had come out to seek his life; and David was in the wilderness of Ziph in a wood.
